So Aubrey Drake Graham filed another lawsuit against Universal Music Group after withdrawing a legal inquiry last week. This time, the 38-year-old claimed that the label allowed Kendrick Lamar to release “Not Like Us” despite it potentially harming his credibility and leading to physical harm, as well as pumping out the song using more nefarious methods. There’s a couple notable differences between this most recent lawsuit and Aubrey’s last few legal shenans, notably, that his lawyers listed a number of journalists, streamers, influencers and random ass YouTube commenters that, they argue, have cited “Not Like Us” as the reason why allegations of his pedophilia have gained traction. And yeah, one of those journalists just happens to be yours truly.
